I am deeply grateful to you for visiting our home-page and having love and interest in Geohapgumdo. Over 30,000 members of Geohapgumdo are now doing their best for training and spiritual awakening in search of tread the path of virtue. In rapidly changing current society, although it is hard to preserve the spirit of Korea which has come down to us for hundreds of years, we are practicing Geohapgumdo in order for the spirit to be delivered to the next generation. Despite its short history of ten and a few years, we hope that Geohapgumdo will adapt to the present rather than just following the tradition to be a valuable and traditional martial arts in the future. In addition to its history, true values of the modern martial arts include spiritual training, physical discipline and also the art of self-defense, the improvement of the quality of life, wise value judgment through the martial arts; and most of all, it is important that a member of the martial arts can maintain friendly relations with other members of society, be respected by them, be an exemplary society member, and ultimately let the excellency of both Korean people and Korean martial arts knows all over the world. To diffuse Geohapgumdo, one of Korean martial arts, all over the world in order for all the trainees to be full of happiness, I ask valuable opinions of all the members of the martial arts including Geohapgumdo.
